Tourists in North Carolina Thursday 9th May 2013
Today we seemed to behave like tourists. After a morning catching up on e-mails, we
went to find the laundromat and verify the hours. After lunch, we drove to Wrightville Beach
and had a walk on the beach. From
Wrightville, we drove back to Wilmington to photograph the old part of the city. We found a place for dinner then hit the
streets again for near-night photos.
Thankfully the boat yard was more ambitious than we
were. The second coat of paint was
applied to the bottom of the boat. We
have new zincs and other than the lubrication of the propeller, the boat seems
to be ready for the water again.
