We get Wheels

We get Wheels   …   Friday - Saturday 7-8 December

We spent Friday morning cleaning and tidying inside the boat and finishing up more laundry. I think we mentioned that Gloria's brother Paul and his wife Fran have a home here in Vero Beach where they spend the winter. Due to unforeseen circumstances they are  a little late this year and should arrive in a week or so. Fran's sister Susan and her husband Clark also now have a winter home in Vero Beach and arrived a couple of days ago. Clark came down to the boat along with Paul and Fran's neighbor, Dave Colman, and took us back to P and Fs house to pick up their car. So Gloria and I are now driving for the first time in 4 months! This will be great for getting around the area as the Loggerhead Marina is a about 3 miles away from town. It will also help as we re-provision the boat ready to head to the Bahamas.
Saturday morning dawned foggy and we plan to spend the day switching out some of our light fixtures for LEDs and replacing the non-skid tread on the companionway steps.
The blog could be a bit light for the next week as I head out to the UK tomorrow.
